请问父母探亲问题

我一直想把父母接来加拿大住一段，但是有看到论坛中有人在问父母体检的问题。我母亲前些年得过一次中风，轻微脑血栓，所以走路手脚不是很方便。不知道这种情况下是不是就拿不到签证？老年人都要体检后才有签证吗？

另外，像我母亲这种情况，是否可以长途飞行，不知哪位有相似经历。

It is nice to do that. However, I would suggest that you do not bring your mother here. The reason is that you may not be able to afford her medical cost if she is seriously sick. Medical insurance may not cover all cost. You are basically risking a bankruptcy of your family. I was told some cases which costed a lot of money. You may consult the insurance companies(a few) if you go ahead. It is much better for you to go back to see her or give money to her than to invite her to come over.

I do not know if there is any change. Health check is not needed when parents apply for visa in China. But it is needed after they want to extend their stay in Canada.

Medical examination is almost mandatory requirement for parents over 70 years old who submit visa application in china , i don't see any exception as far as i know ( I could be wrong).

体检很好通过，总会有办法的。问题是你母亲这种情况，如果在这有什么问题，花费太高。
