Strange thing is that my two daughters, who grow up here, have better success rate than me in finding the right words. Maybe it is because my English (not the Chinese) pronounciation is not genuine enough .

P.S. I guess the one I am having the most problem is word that sound like a c, q or z.

无论如何，英语是外语，自己人间用外语交流会有欠缺的。

All my children went/go to the weekend Chinese schools, it is the best I could do.

It helps but it is asking too much for them to know a lot of Chinese. The other way is to use it as much as possible at home.

你这么做已很不错。有许多父母生怕儿小孩听不懂中文，而和他们讲英语。这就白白断送了小孩的学习中文的机会。
