China prepares for its 60th anniversary

Chinese citizens and government workers have been preparing for months for their upcoming celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1st. Parts of Beijing have been shut down several times, allowing for rehearsals of a once-in-a-decade military parade, multiple artistic performances and shows, fireworks and more. Security concerns are high as well, bringing out large details of security personnel and equipment. 只有中国才会出现这些奇迹的场面

说的一点儿不错,面子工程世界第一。要是把这些钱用在建希望小学上,中国的明天会更加美好。
 
嗯,钱多,人多,时间多,显示中国强大了。
 
钱多了就是强大了?老百姓心中觉得幸福的多,还是抱怨的多?

还有多少地震灾民没有得到安置?还有多少山区儿童没有上学?还有多少对越战争负伤残疾的战士没有办法生存?还有多少所谓的访民颠沛流离,只为了讨还公道?

现在的架势,是为了谁来动员这么多人力物力来折腾啊?是谁在那里得到最大的快感呢?

一个政权建立起60年就这样,那么100年后呢?200年后呢?是不是准备再建设一个圆明园,摆上所有的奇珍异宝?

谁知道一个政府到底能存活多少年?黄宗羲定律到底还管用不管用?
 
我爸那一代,他们真正上完中学的有十几个。。。

现在他们村儿18岁还没上完初中的有十几个。。。

被中央政府遗忘了几千年的大山沟里的人几十年内能有这样的进步,我个人认为是进步,是个人和国家都富有了。。。

没有一个人是完美的,更没有一个国家是。

小时候,听过一个关于上海人的笑话,我没有不少人对上海人的很多看法,这个笑话只是碰巧是关于上海人的,就一句话:上海人不怕家里失火,就怕走路掉进水沟里。

这个笑话如果不经解读,是完全不好笑的。这说的是很长的时间里,大多数的 上海人都住在非常拥挤和简陋的房子里,但上海人又好面子,所以大概每个人都有一套比较光鲜的“出客”衣服。你在上海的大街上,看到人们光鲜的穿着,你是没 法想象他们的房子是如何的狭小,拥挤和破旧。也正因为如此,上海人不担心家里失火,因为家里其实没什么,但担心掉水沟里把唯一一套光鲜的“出客”衣服弄脏 了。

我估计,这大概不是上海一个地方的特点,大概整个中国就在不久的过去都是如此,其实现在仍然如此。北大在百年校庆的时候还紧赶慢赶把那些破旧的教学楼的表面粉刷了一下,里子是顾不上了,面子是不能丢的,那是1998年,十一年前吧。这也是去年写“走进未来”时的潜台词之一。

现在的上海,当然早已今非昔比了。今年的端午节后的那个星期天,是个工作 日,我正好在上海停留一晚。晚饭,主人安排在了浦东的国际会展中心,就在黄埔江边。饭菜的印象不深了,但是从吃饭的包厢望出去,对面就是外滩,浦西的很大 一部分都收在眼底。让我惊讶的是,外滩现在看上去显得那么黯淡,那里曾经是上海最亮的地方。这,不是因为外滩变了,而是上海变了。

一个国家的自信,不止应该在展示这个国家光鲜的部分,而更在于大方的承认这个国家还不够光鲜的部分。只展示光鲜的部分,也许恰恰还是不够自信的体现。我听一个教授讲过一个关于韩国的故事,他当时住在韩国,亲身经历。那应该是70年 代,一个很重要的国际会议在汉城召开,于是政府机构都接到一个通知,开会的当天,所有政府机构的车都被要求不停的在汉城市区绕来绕去,以弥补汉城当时还微 不足道的汽车流量,显示韩国的“富强”。今天这件事情听起来,这哪里是在“示强”,明明是在“示弱”,但在那时却真真正正的发生了。

桃李不言,下自成蹊,一个国家真正做得对做得好的部分是不用担心不被注意的,特别对于一个大国而言。不光展示好的一面,更敢于敞开另一面的时候,那才是一个真正自信的国家。

一个人是这样的,一个国家也是,敢于真正面对自己的缺点和不足的时候,才是真正表现了自己的自信,不然,就如同文章中的老上海人了,只有那么一套“出客”的光鲜衣裳,弄脏了就觉得一点面子都没了,就像为了这次10.1的活动,连菜刀都不许超市售卖了。

我想你也许太年轻,不知道过去六十年尤其前三十年里在中国大陆所发生的事情。​

如果你已是四十岁左右的中年人了,还说出这种话,我为你感到悲哀。


 
可能是接触的人群不同吧。。。

我接触的一些我的朋友和我父母的朋友,不管是家里有钱的,有势的,还是黑在这儿的,或者说自己是法轮功被迫害,然后把孩子丢下双双回国打工的都觉得中国是在进步的,在向上发展的。。。

当然他们也都些挺积极快乐的人。。。

比例上来讲,当然是跟演艺圈近的和家里有做官的人家的娃不想回国的多些,而且是往往是那种在这边刚毕业就找到大公司,前面比较有奔头的,自称看透了国内那一套的人愿意留下的多些。。。

我都7年没回去了,说什么也是假的,哈。。。

突然觉得,你才是真正的“知足常乐”!惭愧!

时代是在进步的,不要因为现在比几十年前好多了,就感激涕零了,还应该横向比比,也应该看看在过去几十年里都干了些什么。。。

更何况,富有了,就是一切了?看看大陆的穷富差别吧。其实,富有是一个相对的概念。在看到积极方面的同时,我们不应该对消极的东西视而不见,反之亦然。


 
我家祖辈,一边是不知道多少代的贫农,基本上是全靠新政府才活下来;一边是成分非常不好的知识分子,不论有多少学术贡献,因为他们13、4岁出走前所属的家庭是地主阶级,就是要挨整。。。

现在贫农的孩子也进城做学问了,挨整了那么多年的也退休了,看开了。。。

我从小受到的教育就是知足,知耻,不抱怨,不气馁,虽然听得早懂得晚,知易行难嘛。。。
