我现在租用 DIRECT ENERGY 的TANK,今天Reliance 的人游说我换用这家公司的, 免费换新的高效率TANK, 免 首3个月租金. 似乎不错, 有没有人有同样经历?

Thanks, I try. They will remove the old one and install new one, hope no problem with the Direct Energy which i rental now.

I just installed mine after my neighbor. No complaints. Water tank is a reliable appliance as long as it's relatively new.
Nobody can have a worse service than direct energy I guess. Last winter, my hot water tank broke down, they told me I have to wait for a week for the emergency team to come to fix it.

Here is the hidden cost with Reliance, in case you need to cancel the rental contract in the future.
- water tank removal: $125+tax
- cancellation fee: $40

40 Gallon conventional Gas water tank monthly rental: $10.65
50 Gallon conventional Gas water tank monthly rental: $12.43

I personally prefer the conventional gas water tank rather than the tankless water tank ($35/month), because it uses less electricity and cheaper to rent.

You may call Reliance at (613) 738-2300. $12.43 is for a 50 Gallon Conventional Gas water tank The power-vented one is ~$22, and the tankless one is about $35. Reliance does not promote this conventional tank as they don't make much money for it. In fact, the conventional tank uses even less electricity than others.
