你可问对人了, 我在蒙特利尔住了十年. 大冷天的, 去强记或满城吃顿饱饭吧, 这两家都在唐人街, La Gauchetiere上, between Clark and St-Urbain. 老码头夏天才好, Oratoire St-Joseph 阴森森的也没什麽意思. St-Catherine Street between Union and Montagne 是著名购物区, 也有一流的脱衣舞吧, 值得一逛! 皇家山夜景在不太冷的情况下也可一观.

要滑雪得去Laurentides, 延15号高速一直向北开. Mont St-Sauveur 是个不错的滑雪场, 进山后到处都是滑雪场. 或者延10号高速向东开(要过Champlain Bridge), Bromont, Mont Sutton或Mont Orford 都挺好.

魁省人开车比较粗野, 蒙特利尔路又不好, 要小心. 进城别走40东, 15南接720东更方便. 有问题发email来呀.

CASHBOX在我还在蒙特利尔的时候就关门大吉了. 另有一家在MONTAGNE上, SHERBROOKE与MAINSONNEUVE之间, 好象叫什麽LASER, 总之在一家日本馆子东洋TOKYO楼下. 是KTV, 不过歌挺老, 房间隔音也不好.

I don't know when was the last time you are there.
But I went to Cash Box 2 months ago, By then they were still open.
Although they might open a bit of Late(5pm?) and charged a bit of high on weekends.

Really, it's good to hear! I came to Ottawa in 2000. Cashbox was closed before that, I guess for a while, maybe change of ownership. Yeah, the old cashbox used to open everyday from 3:00pm, don't know the new one would be the same. I liked that place, more songs and better sound-proofed rooms (never stayed in the big hall). However the drinks were expensive, order beers or tea only.

Oh, The location of the Cashbox is right beside the Guess store, a little bit further west of the Gap, in a tall building with Nautilus Plus sign, but it's in the basement.
