打算买一辆7000－8000的二手车，主要跑local，冬天能靠得住，目前犹豫两个：1。2001年Passat，跑了150K2。2003年Buick Century， 跑了51K两个车价钱差别不大，税后8000左右，请高人给点意见。另外，如果有其他的推荐，也不妨说说。谢谢。

If you just need a car for daily commute, I suggest you to buy Accord or Camry. At the similar price, you can get Accord or Camry with comparable milage. However, if you are looking for a car which is safe and fun to drive, you can go with Passat. However, its maintenance fee is higher than Japanese cars. As to american cars, I donot have any good impression.
