Responsibilities:
· Design and development test automation team member developing software for the test harness named Real-T. The test harness applies to our products that include operating systems for Ethernet switches, IP routers, application tunneling servers, wireless devices, firewalls, security systems, network management system Developing software that interacts with switches, routers etc.
· Applying the software engineering methods to develop systematic solutions for the automation tool.
· Developing user and developer guides for the software.
· Functional, stress, performance and interoperability testing of switches, routers etc.
· Developing test plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
The individual must demonstrate possessing the following skill set:
· Engineering or science university degree in software, computer, system or similar.
· Software engineering, or similar experience or education.
· The candidate should have experience that includes 5 of the following areas:
· Software development language: Perl, Tcl/Tk, C or similar
· OS: Linux, Windows
· Configuring routers, switches and firewalls
· Protocols: SNMP
· LAN: Ethernet
· TCP/IP protocol stack
· Quality assurance
