A nice to have feature, especially if you have a walk-out basement. If you want to do it, make sure you have a plan in advance, and ask the builder to re-locate the furnace and hot-water tank to a proper location (may cost you several hundreds bucks)

The upgrade price is always based on the lot size. 14k is way over charged IMO.

地下室打算做家庭影院的话9" ceiling还是很好的选择，6"太低了，想加pot light,ceiling speaker一类的东西的话就会更低了.......
