留学生身份带宝宝回国是给他办签证还是旅行证？

我们夫妻都是留学生，在这里生的小孩，现在毕业了，打算回国发展，所以孩子会在国内接受教育，我们如何给他办理证件呢？

按照中国国籍法，父母是中国国籍，孩子出生在国外，孩子是中国国籍，但宝宝出生在加拿大，加拿大承认孩子拥有加籍

我咨询过中国大使馆，工作人员给我的回复是，父母带着孩子亲自到使馆办理旅行证，需要父母的护照、工作准证、孩子的出生证明等原件和复印件，还有孩子的护照照片两张。父母没有移民的，中国政府是承认孩子的中国国籍的。
你可以再给使馆打电话确认一下。

孩子回国后，如果大了以后想来，还能在国内给他办加拿大护照吗？

中国政府承认中国国籍，那加拿大政府应该也是承认加拿大籍的呀？ 不是都有出生证了吗？

出生纸，SIN卡，Ontario health card（2年），CCTB都有了。

如果小孩是加拿大护照，回国上学啥的比较麻烦啊。。

I checked the citizenship act, such a limitation only apply to the baby of diplomatic. I hope my mistake would no mislead any body. :blowzy:

你可以申请加拿大护照给孩子，也可以申请中国旅行证。护照是给孩子回加拿大时候用的，但是有效期是3年。出境的时候旅行证跟加拿大护照一起用。
