[问题] 新的 G2 驾照可以租车么？

请问，我刚拿的 G2 驾照可以租车么？我上次去 Budget 租车被拒绝了。

Yes. Try other companies, but it's unlikely to rent a van.

National, Hertz, Enterprise are good. Actually, I'll never ever rent a car from Budget.

ask them, that's different, depends on what time, weekday, weekend ... You can reserve a car in advanced, maybe they do not have that kind of .... therefore you can give you the upgrade one without any charge.

sometime they will reject you if you have no experience. but i dont think all of them will do the same thing.

I'm holding a G2 licence. I have rent cars several times since I got my licence, never got rejected.
I tried Budget, Enterprise, Thrifty, Abc. I even rented a truck from U-hall recently.
Nobody asked me such kind of questions like:how long is your experience.
If they ask you, just tell them you have very long experience in China.
Sometime Enterprise is good for weekends or holidy specials.

Better not rent from Enterprise. Their price is cheap but when something is wrong with your car, it is hard for you to find a helping hand from Enterprise. I had an awful experience when i was in Halifax two years ago with Enterprise, but not sure about Enterprise Ottawa, AVIS is good. just my two cents.
