please recommend dentist for children

there is big cavity of my daughter's teeth. SHe is 4. We had a simple check for her last month, but too many problem. She is not comfortable with checking the teeth. So We need to find a specialist on children dentist. IN ottawa or in gatineau.

My boy went there a few times to get his teeth done and they had to put him to sleep since he is restless and does not always follow our instructions.

yes, i am looking for a pediatric dentist. Now i have more choices, I should have this post earlier and do some research.

Since my friend goes to Nepean's one, so I don't think more on it. But bad experience. Hopefully we can find better one.

They have a LCD TV on the ceiling of each room. They provide DVDs for the kid to pick. When the dentist is doing his job the kid can watch cartoon playing on the ceiling.

You are welcome. I just read that it requires a referral which should be easy to get. But, it does charge more than a normal dentist would charge and therefore you have to pay more after insurance coverage.

Physician or dentist referral is required.

Actually this is the one I mentioned in Bell Corner. It is also recommended by my friend. Then we waited a month for this appoinment. We have day off and all the way from Gatineau to Ottawa in the morning. Only 10 mintues late, so "sorry, you can NOt have check up today. " I ask why and even I explain, "No, because we have lots of forms to fill in , you don't have enough time". So bad service from the staff, I think the doctor could be the same.

I think they book so many people(also get this point from website) , so missing one patient doesn't affect their business. However it DOES affect our life and our kids' life.

So that one I DON'T recommend to anyone later.

don't believe this dental office

I was cheated by their website, but I think the person just robot, not person. I think they are the only pediatric dentist in Ottawa, so i call back to make appointment again, they don't accept since I argue with them. I don't know as a parent, I am wrong since my daughter is painful. If they can handle me at the first time like this, I cannot imagine what will happen later. I will be totally under their control every time. I am not happy with that.

I also think later when I got chance, I will complain them to Ontario Dental Association or some place probably I should go.

They don't care how patients and kids feeling. If so, any trouble could happen later. This is my exp.

CARLING上那个, 我还没去过。 但是我朋友的小孩一直在那里， 很不错的说。 当时觉得有点远就选了BELLS CORNER这个。 前前后后去了好几次， 补牙， 拔牙。 虽说是专看小孩的， 但是感觉她们很冷漠。没有别的选择， 就接着看了。 那个前台， 简直是没有素质极差， 直接就摔了别人的电话， 像神经病一样的。再也不去了。她那儿小孩太多了， 很久都排不上。每次都要等好久。 基本上大半天就耗在那儿了。根本就不再乎顾客什么感觉， 爱来不来。

我的牙医也在Bells Corners,但不是你说的那个.我们全家都在那里看牙. 医生人很好, 前台的人也很nice, 我家小朋友都很喜欢去那里.他们总是欢迎新病人.这是他们的电话613)596-1600
