how can I tell if it is a gas furnace or electricity furnace?

How can I tell?

if it is electricity furnace, can I replace it with a gas furnace? which one is better, from heating efficiency and money saving?

Gas furnace has a gas pipe and exhaust pipe. Never heard of electricity furnace. Most electric heaters are baseboard.

there do have electrical furnace. It need very big cable feed in electricity. It does not have exhaust pipe to outside. This is the best way to judge. Or the simple thing is have you ever receive any gas bill.

咱这河两边气价电价是俩不同状况－－相反，所以用电还是用气取暖也是俩潮流。－－听说魁省电业收购了邻省new brunswick的水电公司，已经卡了美国的供电咽喉了，呵呵，跟BC 似的，自己有水电垄断卖电，控制卖美国的电价牛啊。
如果是渥村儿，就看炉子是不是高效炉吧，换炉子不花钱吗？换高效炉省得出多少打打算盘就出来了。

yes, i am living in QC side, usually electcity is cheaper, but not check yet how cheaper than gas. also I heard if use gas furnace, we have to have municipal pipe for that. ANy one knows it?

just got this old house, not sure everything.
