周三早，渥太华以南40公里处 Kars发生交通事故：30岁女司机驾车时失去控制，撞车死亡

OTTAWA — A 30-year-old woman has died following a three-vehicle collision that closed part of Roger Stevens Drive Wednesday morning.

Reports indicate the fatal crash happened on a curve just east of Rideau Valley Drive North around 7 a.m. The woman, headed eastbound, lost control of her car. It clipped another car, then swerved into oncoming traffic, striking a westbound pickup truck.

Paramedics said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries. The other driver involved was unharmed.

Roger Stevens was closed between Rideau Valley Drive South and River Road, east of Kars. Police were asking people to avoid the area. The road is expected to remain closed for some time.

Police collision investigators were investigating.

Kars is 40 kilometres south of downtown Ottawa.

周三早7点左右，30岁女司机，沿Roger Stevens向东开，汽车忽然失去控制，与另外一辆车擦碰后，急转驶入对面车流中，与一辆西行的PickUP相撞。

女司机当场死亡。

皮卡车中的男司机受轻微伤，另外一辆车的司机没有受伤。
