[问题] 江总书记的英语

我别的地方看到的，讨论的挺有意思，我也搞不太清楚，下面的英语是江总会见布什时候说的一句英语，据说里面有N个错误，大家谁能找全，我是看不全的。

He is simply being polite and deferring to Bush. Like saying, someone has more knowledge about a certain issue than you, but you will do your best to provide some insight and answer the question. (EVEN IF YOU ARE MUCH MORE KNOWLEGEABLE THAN THE PERSON TO WHOM YOU ARE DEFERRING!!!)

这句话没什么语法问题.

Assuming Jiang was speaking to a 3rd person, then:
1. He should not repeat Mr. Bush and he in the same sentence, high school grammer.
2. ...much more experience than I DO, again high school grammar.

如果江书记当时是当布施面指第三者经验丰富, 那么这么说没有语法错误. 我们根本不知当时的语言环境, 无法判断这种表达方式对不对. 但就字面看, 没有语法错误.

就算是指布施, 重复人称代词在口语中也不是什么问题, 是可接受的. 当然书面语不能这么写.

这里面一个老师教过的说法，美国总统的称呼是 Mr.President，从来不用 Mr. Bush

Bush 是姓, 不是名.所以Mr. Bush 的称呼完全没语法问题. 当然称Mr. President 更正式, 但江书记也是国家元首, 称布施为Mr Bush 更显亲近,合情合理.

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with Mr.Jiang's exoression as an oral English! Stop strutting your gramatical rules in a wrong case!
