Questions about LEGAL renting to tenants in Gatineau.

Hello,

I have a semi-detached house in Gatineau, basement furnished unit, like an in-law suite.

I am moving to somewhere else and would like to rent both the upper unit and basement unit, seperately. There is only one meter in the house.

Would it be possible and legal at all???? Any implications???
