Lately I've been busy looking for daycare for my kids. They are still on the waiting list for the licensed daycare. I need temporarly home daycare for them, and I have to find someone who's on the bus zoned for the shool my son attends. I registered w/ an agency but found their price is not much cheaper than the licensed daycare (ok, it's cheaper, but it's home daycare afterall, you know what i mean). I supposed to have an interview but I canceled it and told the agency they charged more than I expected. Then today I found out another agency charges even more, and some home daycare charge even more than the agency. Now I'm stuck, but it'll make me look dumb if I go back to the first agency. what should I tell her? any advice?

having interview, this is w/ the agency. Now I'm thinking is it better to go w/ the agency or without? I heard it's more flexible without the agency. any idea? anyone in the situation of changing the mind and ask the childcare provider if she want to go private? (not sure if this makes any sense).
