Everybody should be responsible for his or her own posting before he or she posts it, and everybody should be generous and confident enough to let others to comment on his or her postings if he or she is confident enough to post them. If everybody can delete their postings just as they like, the readers and the writers of the following postings are not respected.
I wonder why some persons here pay so much attention to their images even though they act as if they are very confident for themselves. I think charming personality is the most important. Such as Guo ke, Trinitron and a lot of other chatters here, I can feel their charming and interesting aspects from their postings.
We chat here just for sharing some opinions and life experiences, or maybe later we can make friends with each other, there is no correrct or incorrect here. I hope that Riven or Jane can realize this. Just because of the participation of so many interesting and charming guys here, this bbs can grow up so fast.
It is too late now, and I just give some rough ideas here in a rush. I will be very busy and I hope that I will still have time to come here and meet those impressive guys.
OK, this is a design flaw. I will propose a Discrepancy Response Plan (DRP document) later
Technically, I don't think it is hard to fix this problem, but we need to be politically right before we start.
To be honest, I even don't think the onwer should have the ability to Edit (in terms of deleting, modifying, adding) his/her original post in the first place.
Have you ever seen a physicist edited his original experimental records?
