想知道流程,找你OB要一份“Information for the New Mother & Her Family_ Cesarean Birth”, the Ottawa Hospital出的,蓝皮子的小册子。
Well, they'll give you epidural, so you won't feel any pain during the operation, but you do feel some pressure when the doc presses the baby out, then you put you in the recovery room for a couple hours 'til the epidural wears off. From then, it's like hell, trust me. For the first day, you pee thru a tube that's inserted into your bladder, the next day the nurse undo the tube, you'll try to get off bed, that's most painful moment when you get up and sit down. now I think of it, i want to cry.
Yes, your husband can and should stay w/ you during c-section. For me, I didn't take much pain killer, and I tried not too, 'coz they are medications afterall, and I'm breastfeeding. Although I was told it's safe for the baby, but I didn't take that much.
