New session of our Monday entry level Argentine Tango lessons (level 1 and 1.5) starts on Jan. 11th. Both classes are at the level 1 level, in 1 we focus on leading/following techniques and parallel/cross systems; in 1.5, we focus on pivots and improvisation. For those considering re-take level 1, you can take either one or both classes, as usual, for half price.
Starting Friday Jan. 15th, we will have a one-hour level 3 class at 7 pm. In a 5-week session, we will focus on 1 or 2 topics like Barrida, sacada, Giro, Lapiz/Plano, enrosque etc.. As a prerequisite, students need to have good foundation of leading/following, ochoes and some basic improvisation skills.
The session consists of a total of 5 classes, plus free monitored practice on Fridays.
Class time: Monday 6:30 - 8:00pm (level 1), starting Jan. 11th
Monday 8:00 - 9:30pm (level 1.5), starting Jan. 11th
Friday 7:00 - 8:00pm (level 3), starting Jan. 15th
Practice time: Friday 8:00 - 9:00pm

Levels 1 and 1.5 - $60/person, $30 for full-time students; half price for those re-taking Tango 1 or 1.5
Level 3 - $50/person, $30 for full-time students
Please bring a separated pair of indoor shoes for taking the lesson, while leather or suede sole dance shoes are best for dancing Tango, any light weight shoes with none sticky sole will do. Avoid soft rubber sole shoes.
On the first class, please arrive 10 minutes earlier for registration.
