还好啦。我们家５个大人，上月电费＄３０５ （６０DAYS）。经常煲汤，用烤箱，烘干机之类的，电费自然高啦。

估计当SMART METER PROGRAM 开始实施时（大约在今年夏天）电费还涨２０％。 现在是＄０。５８ 一度电，以后是高峰期（中午１１点至下午２点，下午５点到９点之间 ）用电是＄０。９８， 除非我们改变生物钟可以９点之后再做饭，午夜吃饭吧。 感谢自由党感谢麦骗子。

节能灯炮并不省钱。因为节能灯炮价格贵，一般只有2年左右寿命。比如将40瓦普通灯泡换成10瓦的，一年才节省 30x5x365x0.058/1000=$3.175(按每天5小时算)，还不到半包烟钱。

2楼给的数据似乎也不对。查了下上个月的电费单，1度电是5.8Cents=$0.058 （Also: http://www.hydroone.com/RegulatoryAffairs/RatesPrices/Pages/Default.aspx ）, 所以：

30x5x365x0.058/1000=$3.175 （每年）

算上delivery等杂费和税，每年节省的钱不超过$7！这还没算买节能灯泡要花的钱。

latest bill 139.87/2 month。
CFL节能灯不节能，用电大头有冰箱，洗衣洗碗机Dryer还有暖气炉的风扇，夏天空调。。。电灯泡的耗电是小意思，节也节不到哪里去。

CFL的好处是比较亮又不热，以前给孩子学习的灯25W太暗，40W就烫手了，小孩子粗心，有时烫着或者把书本烤糊了，火灾隐患。现在CFL 9W等于白炽灯40W亮度，还不会烤东西。
缺点是里边有水银成分，摔破了就麻烦

节能灯泡不仅不省钱，用过后废弃的灯泡还严重污染环境，比普通灯泡污染严重的多！
