The Hitachi external drive looks like a nice pickup if you need a 2.5" external hard drive with big capacity. It's not marked as such on TigerDirect.ca's product page, but the SimpleDrive Minis are 2.5" drives. The fact that it uses only a USB connection for power is another giveaway. As long as you don't mind waiting out the rebate, you're getting a very good price for a 500GB external drive.

The Samsung HKT-450 Bluetooth speakerphone also looks like a good buy. With hands-free driving laws being adopted by more and more provinces (as of January 2010, PEI, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan join Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador with bans in place), having a hands-free solution is something all drivers should consider. They don't get much cheaper than this.
