Anyone interested in end of April/begining of May Alqonquin canoe fishing trip?

have you been there before with any success?
I never got fish over there

I've been to the park a few times for the last few years ranging from one day to 5 days. Some years were good and some years were not. For me, I enjoy being there in the spring as much as enjoying the fish bitting.

i would liek to go ,but can i have more details?

去那里露营,呆两个晚上,打牌钓鱼喝酒。

不用说了,有walkly rOad大哥一句话,去了!

I'll be working out the details later.

Basically, I only have a weekend to spare. We'll be canoeing to a lake and the camping site. This requires you to have some paddling skill. I have 2 people already and ideally we have 2 people in each canoe.

The trip will be very early Saturday to late Sunday and it is expected to paddle 3 hrs to the camping site.

If you're still interested, please make a committent and then we can plan the trip together.

my idea is we rent a camping spot for the whole weekend so we will have enough time to fishing and other funs.

Do you rent canoe?
Is the camping site accessable by canoe only?

Thanks,

Actually do we need to go that far? Last year my family rent a cottage at White Lake for three days, and I cannot say how great it was. We caught more than 100 fishes each person, pike, bass, perch, moon eye, offcourse some tiny sunfishes included. Catch, release, or eat, it was fantastic and only 1 hour to there. All cottages are closeby the shore, so one time I just lied down on bed and put my rod out of window, and got some perchs. If some people want this fishing trip, we can go ahead to reserve a cottage, otherwise it will be too late. It is costly, but really worth the money.

Anyway, I think we should create a fishing group in Yahoo or somewhere else, so we can put our contact information into it and make some special events happen.

You have to rent a canoe if you don't have one. The site will be accessble by canoe only. This particular lake I plan to go is about 2 hour paddling plus 1500 meters portage.

Unlike bass and pike, trout fishing is more difficult. That's why sometimes you don't even get a bite in a day.

I am a canoe guy first, and I am a fisher man as well. Going fishing is an execuse for me to go out and catching a fish is always a bonus. I like Algonquin Park as it is so beautiful.

Again, if you are interested in this April/May trip, please QQH to me as this will be my last posting.
