父母探亲报税额问题

父母去年来探亲呆了一年,不知报税时可否claim dependent credit.有经验的可否分享一下.多谢了

yes or no. 可以报，它要不查就没事。它要查，就有事。

问题在於：你父母要是 resident 才可以报。俺曾打电话问过：他们说 temporily resident 算 visitor, 不算 resident.

Your parents cannot claim the tax credit for sure.
