First up is the Vizio SV420M-C 42" 120Hz 1080p LCD HDTV w/4x HDMI for $749.00 with free shipping. That's a darn good price for a 42" 120Hz LCD, and Dell.ca offers free shipping where most retailers will charge for shipping on TVs that are 39" or bigger. User impressions on avsforum.com are very positive. You can also check out a review on PCWorld.com. Vizio has made some nice stride in terms of quality, so we think this is good deal worth considering.
If you need something more moderately sized, Dell has a pair of Viewsonic LCDs on sale for $249.00 each. One is the Viewsonic 23" VT2342 1080p LCD HDTV for $249.00. It comes with 3 HDMI inputs and looks to support 1080p resolution for PC display as well. The other product is the slightly older Viewsonic 24" VT2430 1080p LCD HDTV also for $249.00. This model, while giving you a bit more size, only comes with 1 HDMI input and according to the spec sheet, supports a maximum PC resolution of 1360 x 768.
