Help Yushu Earthquake Victims 救援玉树灾民！

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in China’s Qinghai province on April 14 -- at least 700 people dead & more than 11,000 injured. Please pray for the safety of the victims and the relief work for the affected regions.

Early morning yesterday morning, April 14th, around 7:49 am, nearly 600 people were killed after a rapid series of six powerful earthquakes hit Yushu, a mountainous and
impoverished area of China's Qinghai province. According to the Chinese media, at least 10,000 others were injured, and many victims, including school children, were buried under the debris. In the worst-hit town of Jiegu (population: 30,000), more than 90% of the buildings were wrecked, and landslides have cut off roads. Survivors are struggling to stay warm in the mountainous region with temperatures below freezing. The quake’s epicenter is located in the remote and rugged terrain, which borders the autonomous regions of Tibet and Sichuan Province.
Agape Way has decided to join in the relief efforts with a Christian partner in China. Agape Way has been helping poor Chinese children in the southwest region since 1999 and has actively engaged in the Sichuan earthquake relief and reconstruction since 2008. Currently we have a team of 20 people building earthquake-proof light-steel frame houses in Sichuan and Gansu provinces. This team will switch to reconstruction in Yushu region after finishing the work in the areas.
I contacted our parnter in China yesterday morning. He is leaving for Yushu tomorrow, to visit earthquake victims and to set up a relief program there. I plan to go to Yushu earthquake region around June 6 during my trip in China from May 31 to July 21. Please pray for the victims and the relief efforts.
We pray that the Lord will give us Christians the opportunity to reach the people of this predominantly Buddhist population with the hope and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

可能您已经知道昨天，4月14日，北京时间早晨7点49分前后,中国青海省玉树地区连续发生六次地震，最强的一次是7.1级,导致近600人死亡,上万人受伤,房屋倒塌严重.震中结古镇(人口三万)90%以上民房倒塌。幸存者在零度以下的寒冷气候中为生存而挣扎。该地震区地处青藏高原,与西藏自治区和四川省交界。
考虑到当地藏族同胞的巨大需要和我们的人力和体系资源，博爱路决定投入玉树赈灾和重建。自从1999年以来，博爱路一直在中国西部几个省份援助贫穷孩子，并积极参与了2008年四川汶川地震的救援和重建。博愛路所支持的20人基督徒建筑队,眼下正在四川和甘肃为地震灾区建筑抗震轻钢房。在完成了四川和甘肃的项目之后，这个团队可以转向玉树的房屋重建、心灵重建和社区重建。
我已经联系一位国内同工,立即奔向青海玉树.他将于后天，礼拜五，4月16日，从成都飞往青海西宁市,次日从西宁飞往玉树，给当地的藏族同胞带去一些赈灾援助和上帝的慈爱，并立即着手设立赈灾项目。我自己将于5月31日至7月21日在中国。我计划在6月6日从四川西部去青海玉树。请为我们这些事工祷告。我们求神让我们基督徒把上帝的慈爱和基督的救赎带给我们的藏族同胞，给他们人生真实的盼望。
