If you have an iPhone, the Skype App for iPhone is worth checking out if you're interested in free VOIP service. Until the end of 2010 at least, you can make free Skype-to-Skype calls on WiFi or 3G. You're responsible for data costs where applicable, but that's only to be expected. As long as both you and the person you want to talk to have Skype accounts, you can talk for free. This even works if the other person is in another country.
Many of you know this has been possible with Skype on your computer for a long time now, but it's nice to have the option from your iPhone.
