Okay, i was walking on the street and stopped at the stop sign getting ready to cross the street. I made sure there weren't cars from all directions, or if there were, they stopped fully before I started walking.
While I was in the middle of the road, walking in a faster pace, a car to my right (probably did stop at the stop sign for 1 second? i don't know) came towards me at a high speed and made a fully close stop in my armlength distance. Either he had a bad judgment thinking that I would be finishing crossing the street when he started taking off the stop sign, or he just completly ignored the traffic law. Anyway, I, of course, was very surprised, because a car suddenly stopped on my right hand side. I kept walking with my head shaking to indicate to the driver: no, that's not how people drive. Then, the dirver gave me a dirty look as if I did something wrong.
I wanted to give the driver a fingre or burst out some @#$%?%& but I was afraid of running into a psycho, violent, insane, maniac driver. I thought of writing down the license plate number and report it to the police. But I wonder how serious the police will look into it since no one was actually hit or hurt.
What would you do if you were me, the innocent pedestrian? What can I do to the driver to make myself feel better,ie, yes, i am agry at the driver although I do not know him at all.
