Have you Chinese driver license? Or Canadian driver lience outside Quebec?
According to the Quebec latest rule of getting Quebec's driving license, if your Chinese driver license is less than 2 years, you have to learn driving knowledge at a legal driving school approved by SAAQ in one year. You will be assigned one Quebec driving teacher at school.
I am not sure how to pass the road test if your Chinese driver license is more than 2 years. You need call SAAQ and confirm if you are able to just take the road test without learning at driving school. If yes please be sure you can get the document confirmation from SAAQ. Then I think you can select the driving teacher whomever you want, like a teacher from Ontario, or a friend who can teach you.
If you have Canadian driver license outside Quebec, you also need contact SAAQ to confirm the process in your case.
