CHEO Teddy Bear’s Picnic
June 26 - 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Rideau Hall (Governor General’s Residence)

Every teddy bear who’s been good is sure of a treat at the 27th Annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic on Saturday, June 26 at Rideau Hall, the Governor General’s Residence. The day will kick off at 8 a.m. with a Celebrity Pancake breakfast. Breakfast is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The day will feature continuous stage entertainment, rides, games, and the B*A*S*H* (Bear Ambulatory Surgical Hospital) tent. Build-A-Buddy is an activity where you make your own bear including stuffing, dressing and naming it for a fee of $15. Admission to the Picnic is FREE. CHEO and the Foundation want to say thank you to a supportive community. PLEASE NOTE: There is no parking on site. A shuttle service is available from the Aviation Museum. Last shuttle bus from the Aviation Museum leaves at 2:15 p.m. and the last shuttle bus leaving from Rideau Hall is at
3:15 p.m.

If you live in or are visiting the National Capital Region, you won't want to miss the RCMP Canadian Sunset Ceremonies - the ultimate family experience in the nation's capital.
June 23 to June 27, 2010

The RCMP is pleased to present this year's Sunset Ceremonies. The theme of the performance is "Honouring our community and policing partners."
What's On

This year's line-up promises to be memorable! From the world-famous Musical Ride to the fast-paced Equestrian Abilities Show and the Mounted Arms Display, there is something for everyone.
Also on-site to entertain spectators of all ages:
  • RCMP Mare and Foal
  • RCMP Pipes and Drums
  • Detector Dog Service teams from the Canada Border Services Agency

Rain or shine, this event runs nightly from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the home of the Musical Ride - the RCMP Stables at the Canadian Police College.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show!
Admission and public parking are both free, however, donation boxes will be set up on the grounds to collect funds for the RCMP Foundation.
The RCMP Stables are located on St. Laurent Blvd. at the Canadian Police College
(OC Transpo route #7), or access free parking directly off the Rockcliffe Parkway.
