卖车要一起去过户吗？

还是车主证签个字给买家就行了？他拿过去，我怎么知道他有没有过户？

买家拿了车主证，然后不去过户，出了事，原车主有没有麻烦？
以前买的时候也是自己去过户，没想过这个问题，现在卖车了，听说如果买家不过户，车子还挂在卖家名下，出了事挺麻烦的，所以想问问

车牌跟人走。把车证车牌那联自己留下，保管好。
