房子保险涨了15%，正常么？ Direct Energy Rewards, 要么？

1。10 年新的房子，今年来单了，保险涨了15%。 这正常么？

以前也是年年涨，打电话问过好像除了换保险公司，没其它办法。 换，麻烦在於车保险也得换！

2。作为租用 Direct Energy water heater 的老用户，上周收到它的一个 Offer: 要求加入他们的 Rewards program: 没有 membership fee, 只有好处：比如 free Furnace Maitnance, $139 value; 还有其它的 draw. 看上去是好事啊。具体情况在它的网站上也有： www.WaterHeaterRewards.com

有谁收到这个了么？ 这免费的午餐吃还是不吃？

我的今年也涨了挺多，不过原来年年降。

Mine increase about 20% due mainly to increase in sewer back-up endorsement fee increase and genera increase of claims last year.

The only way I can drop that increase down to about 10% is to raise my deductable from $300 to $1000

Anyone has any ideas what are the true reasons and how to chop it down in addition to what I have known.
