父母移民的问题

I want to sponsor my mother but do not have birth certificate. I do not think I have one from Chinese government. what do I need to hand it? I called CIC, they told me I can just provide a letter stating why I do not have birth certificate.

户口本总有吧，身份证呢。拿着它们去公证就行了。你当初移民的时候用的什么
