请教家电的保护方法

家里买了画质不错的电视，但又不想延长保险，所以考虑用什么有效的方法来保护家电。能想起来的有以下：

1. 电源保护：据了解Monster Power Center好像不错，价格从$100到$600, 请有经验的指教。哪款合适电视或家庭影院？
2. 天线：如果是Cable由于有Digital Box作为前端，这项也许可以不管了。
3. 过热: 不要开时间太长, 不看的时候关掉，省电安全，放置在通风地方等等...
4. 灰尘...

还有什么?

看来最有效的是Power Conditioning啦。难怪听同事说Monster Cable Products 生意很火。

有些商家的延长保修如果几年内你没用是可以全额退的，比买monster划算多了，如果要买power surge和hdmi cable可以在www.monoprice.com 上找找， 几乎都是成本价，和Futureshop的价格差得十万八千里。。。。。。。。

听说平板电视娇气。 不知道是不是忽悠。
我买的是这个monster里最便宜的。 带电源和天线保护（在背面）。 Walmart就有。
今年雷多， modem，router打坏的常见。

我觉得还是有用的，我目前用的是HDP1800，基本就是最小的一款了。rogers那个盒子的开关电源做得挺差的，交流声通过HDMI线传到了功放，我把电视，功放，数字盒接到了三个单独隔离的输出上，交流声就没有了，很干净。这个conditioner不光有过压过流保护，还有两道三组继电器延时启动的电源输出，并且游戏机，机顶盒和电视之类的还有HD通道，音频有自己专用的通道。电话线，网络线，同轴都可以接上，我觉得非常实用，monster的这一系列是获奖的设计。

我的建议是，电视附近买一个monster净化电源，这样那一堆基本就都可以连上了。如果你书房有比较好的电脑和打印机，可以买个带保护的UPS。至于地下室的modem,router和voip之类的，接一个带保护的插板也可以了，坏了也没多少钱。
