Kanata Chinese
This program is designed for elementary school students to improve their Chinese language skills using their time of after-school care. The core class will be Chinese language (mandarin) supplemented by other fun filled activities such as, depending on age, fun math, fun Chinese, crafts and games instructed in mandarin. Students are encouraged to communicate in Chinese throughout the duration of the program. We highlight activity-filled classes that make learning fun and effective.
Location:
990 Teron Road, Kanata, Ontario (map)
Time:
2:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Weekdays, September 2010 – June 2011
Transportation:
We will arrange to pick up your children from the drop-off location near 990 Teron Road. Detailed procedures for school bus arrangements are available from the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority's (OSTA) website. Specifically, you may find the following documents useful: Policy P.068.TRA and Procedure PR.556.TRA.
Fees:
For students from schools ending between 2:30 pm and 3:15 pm:
Daily: $16 /day
Monthly: $288 /month
For students from schools ending between 3:16 pm and 3:45 pm:
Daily: $12 /day
Monthly: $216 /month
Fees are due at the beginning of each month.
Registration:
Fill out registration form, mail a signed copy with first month payment to:
Space is limited. You may want to register early to secure a spot. Please notify us by email that your registration is in the mail. We will use your email for space priority.
Cancellation:
One month notice is required.
No refund for days of school bus cancellation or no shows.
Instructors:
Our instructors are highly educated from universities with many years experience in teaching children Chinese language and other interest programs in Canada.
