卫生间漏水到一楼厨房天花板问题

由于builder安装不当，导致二楼卫生间冲淋头背后的一块瓷砖有裂缝，经过一段时间 （1，2个月前），我在一楼厨房天花板上发现了水印，很长一条，大约有1到2米横贯厨房天花板，这条水印是二楼的drywall与一楼的天花板的接缝。所以估计二楼整堵墙都潮湿了。2周前builder来查了，在天花板上钻了几个洞，觉得里面还挺干燥的，所以就在瓷砖裂缝那里用硅胶堵了一下，可是现在的情况是，只要上面卫生间淋浴用过了，厨房里面像下过小雨，地上都是水渍。Builder说在order我的瓷砖，需要时间，我发现二楼卫生间的baseboard都开始发霉了，瓷砖baseboard都可能要拆了重做了。听说drywall湿掉了就根本不可能好，只能换掉。
不知道大家碰到这种情况怎么办，我是不是应该联系我的律师，是不是该寻求法律途径来解决。要是builder要修一阵子，可能好多天都不能用厨房了。

it happened 3 times for my house

1 bulider will redo it so u do not need to go court.

2 stop using the shower upstairs until they fix the entire thing

3 open up the kitchen roof and bath room floor to let the wood dry entirely

4 make sure the bulid rebulid the entire shower because there is no way to half fix it. Do not let them fool you... The way you describ can't be water going through the crack of tiles... it must be part of the drain... but they have to do everything

5 after they rebuild the shower. make sure you test it thoroughly before asking them to close off the dry wall in the kitchen

buddy it takes a couple of months to fix everything... lots of patience... but u have to do it

Unfortunately you won't get any compensation. Builder is only responsible for fixing it.

让builder检查一下是不是plumber忘了连接drain pipe了。我之前就是overflow drain因为schedule安排的因素没有给我连上，plumber没做完，drywall guy一来就把天花板给封上了。他们需要open up kitchen ceiling，而不是几个洞能解决的问题，楼上的浴室不要用了。
我是closing的第二天发现的，所以修得还算及时

This would be an issue covered by your Tarion warranty. If you have not done so contact your builder and apprise them of the situation. They should be willing to rectify the issue. Take photos of the unconnected drain and damage (if you can) for you records. If the builder is unwilling to assist you let us know and we can get involved though in my experience builders generally provide good after care service.

plumber他也可以说他test过了，不过问题是如果水量太少的话，很多情况下没法测出来. 你这个可能小水的时候没感觉，水量一多的话就明显了。楼主你要多照相，多打电话催，时间必然是要花的，没法避免，你这个都1个多月了，莫非你知道漏水了以后还在继续用？那100%有mold了。

Richcraft几个星期前来说要Order瓷砖，所以就用silicon封住了一下，但显然没有用。昨天richcraft的人来查过打开天花板了，没有查出什么原因。然后修瓷砖的Argos也来了，但是不可能给修的，因为还没有让Plumber彻底查清楚什么原因，星期二等plumber来看看到底什么原因。
