not my business, but... electric lawn mower is less noisy, more environmentaly friendly (seemingly), but really a mass in terms of playing with the eletric cable - can be fatal if the lawn mower accidentally runs over it, not just your getting an electric shock... gas mower however does not need a cable, a lot easier to manoeuvre, but emits waste gas that is bad to the environment (like a motor vehicle), and thus one should run it when it's not a hot and humid day.
