Apple's new product launches always incite a lot of, shall we say, civilized discourse. Putting that aside for a minute though, new product launches also mean some price drops on previous generation hardware in the Apple Refurbished Store. Recent product refreshes (including a new 11.6" MacBook Air model for $1049 announced on October 20) mean there are some price drops on slightly older hardware, like the following:

It bears repeating that refurbished Apple items come in excellent condition and are virtually indistinguishable from new items. They carry the same standard warranty and the only major difference is that they come in generic boxes instead of new retail packaging.
