I was tempted to buy some calls today, but changed my mind at last minute. Now the deal is dead.

I guess it is never a good sign when a simple business transaction like this one gets WAY TOO POLITICAL.

It's the nation's natural resource. The government has done the right thing.

But this is disrupting global competitive market activities. With government’s intervene, it gives companies like POTASH unfair advantage. This company controls like half the world's potassium supply and apparently there is no competition because its government blocks all of them with stupid politics!
