Winter kit
Remember when we told you to clean your trunk? There's a reason. Go to the store and pick up an inexpensive plastic tub (something that's low profile enough to not tip over.) Also get some Velcro tape, and tape strips to your trunk floor, with the other side taped to the underside of the plastic tub.

* • Gloves
* • A few granola bars
* • Some water
* • Ice scraper
* • Extra windshield washer fluid
* • Anti-freeze
* • Road flares / warning triangle
* • Salt (or sand) in case you get stuck
* • Collapsible shovel
* • Flashlight
* • Extra wiper blades
* • First aid kit
* • Tire pressure gauge
* • Portable blanket
* • Photocopies of important documents, like your CAA membership and driver's license
