Most probably it is the capacitors that got overheated. Actually it is pretty common among Samsung LCD TVs.

If you open the back panel and look for those capacitors that are bulged outwards at the top. They need to be replaced. I did not do it myself. I asked a TV repairman to do it for me. He is a Filipino. The trouble is I am out of town and I do not have his phone number handy.

The fix is simple and the capacitors cost a few bucks. I let him do it for me for $50.

但是原理很简单，也拆开过。

看你的情况应该是电源版（打开以后， 颜色偏黄的那个板子）的问题， 如果你不想用烙铁， 应该可以直接买到这块班子换上就行了， 几十块钱。 但是如果找人修， 人工不知道多少了。

网上卖这个板子也不到$200， 买来换上应该就行了。

当然，如果你能找到那个坏掉的电容， 可以尝试只换它， 买个烙铁也就几十， 一个电容最贵几块钱。

Also check if those capacitors in that general area are bulging outwards on the top, an indication of overheat. Capacitors can be replaced if you know how to solder.

如果是大个的electrolytic cap，腿还长的话， 直接把旧的用钳子剪断脚， 缠个新的上去。 只要缠上绝缘胶带练烙铁都不用。

当然，不保险还难看，但是简单啊~ 挺个一两年就值了
