From the camp advertisement it says the carleton`s dental gives new client free polish whiten service. so, I went to take this bargain. The whole check is very detailed.
After all done, they told me I need to pay 129. That is a surprise because I inquired other clinic. for the first time visit with the 75% insurance, I only need to pay about 50. I checked the details and the front desk lady told me that they charge more than the insurance coverage. for example, if one check item is covered by insurance, the insurance company only accept max 50 as the eligible charge, buy they charge 55, so the extra 5 is not covered and patients have to pay by themselves, together with the 50*25%.
so, I did not ask their charge before I accept service, then I have to pay the extra cost. Just assume it is the price for the `free whiten service`..
If you do not need the whiten service, if you are a new client, ask their charge and tell them how much you can pay before you accept their service, it may help you to prevent any surprise.
Just want to share. :blowzy:
