2. Location: 30 min from downtown Ottawa, (Quebec side is accepted too).


B. How to choose from many mortgage possibilities?


C. How to reduce related expenses including:
Appraisal fee;Home inspection fee;Home insurance;Welcome tax (land transfer tax);Municipal taxes;Lawyer (notary) fees;School taxes,etc.

1st time homebuyer doesn't need pay land transfer tax if it's a new construction.

For other cost, just shop around and compare.

I bought a used house last year. How come I did pay lan transfer tax? Any sound link to "1st homebuyer doesn't need pay land transfer tax"? If so, how big chance can I claim my paid transfer TAX back?

No, a first home is not meaning a new constructed home.

As Canadian, you are first time entitled to purchasing a home in Canada
And you can just pay 5% down!
