I lost my and it took 6 month to get the replacement.

1. To police station to report the lost.
2. go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/certif.asp to apply new one.
3. Optional, go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/declaration.asp to do Solemn declaration concerning a citizenship certificate that was lost.
