Below is what Jack Layton said on last Sunday, in Surrey, BC: "And after the HST fiasco, I would say that British Columbians are ready to send the Ottawa Conservatives a message and kick Stephen Harper out of office".

Here is why I think was 忽悠ing BC选民:
1. The HST is collected by the CRA, which then remits the appropriate amounts to the participating provinces.
2. The decision of participating in HST or not is purely up to the provincial government and it has nothing to do with the Federal Government.
3. As in BC, the Ontario Liberal Government decided to have Ontario go with HST which most ontrarians don't want.
4. As all we know, the Federal government don't/can not interfere with the decisions made by provincial government. Why does he say the HST fiasco created in BC is caused by the Harper Government? Is he 忽悠ing BC选民?

Federal Conservative Government's financial minister Fleherty twice proposed HST to Ontario. The first time, it was rejected. However the second time, it was accepted by current Ontario government.

Current federal Conservative govenrment played a big role in the unpopular Ontario HST, which many people hate.

There are 4 provinces out there they haven't participated in HST. I still think it is purely a provincial decision and federal has no power to overturn it.

没错. 联邦政府定的方向, 省政府通过并制定实施方案. HST这个板子基本也打不到联邦保守党和联邦自由党, 据说: 因为HST税率是省政府定的, 比如HST也可设为11%来平衡上涨部分.

泛泛而谈, 这个板子要打在麦尖滴身上.

那句话咋说的来着，有钱不赚王八蛋啊，必然支持啊。
hst一应用，很多原来不用gst/pst的东西都要补上那5/8%

Layton其实是挺能忽悠的，这次大选也可以说和Layton有很大的关系，不过NDP那条路走下去的话，加拿大就真的没希望了！
