Residents can order their rain barrel online at www.barrhavencommunity.com and then pick it up this Sunday May 15th from 9am to 1pm at Ross' Independent - Garden Centre. The cost is $55.00 and they are eligible for the $50.00 rebate from the City of Ottawa.

Rain barrel rebates
The City is offering a rebate of up to $50 on rain barrels to all residents of the City of Ottawa.

Select a rain barrel that meets the City’s criteria
Must have a minimum volume of 150L.

Steps to receive the rain barrel rebate
Review the full Terms and Conditions.
Residents must live in a single detached, semi-detached or privately-owned row house, condo or townhouse
Purchase the selected rain barrel on or after April 27, 2011.
Submit the completed application form and original rain barrel receipt. (If you wish to retain the original receipt, a Client Service Centre can make an authorized photocopy when submitting the application.)
Along with the completed application form, residents must provide their original receipt and mail to:
