my mom doesn't feel well. I don't know how she could see a doctor

although I bought health insurance for her. Should she see my family

doctor first, or she can go to see any doctor(not family doctor)

directly? And what's the cost then?

Any information would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Any doc is fine. The doc will charge you based on the ontario fee guideline. Most of them accept cheque or credit card.
If you doc doesn't accpet your mom, you can find some clinic for visitor on yellowpages. But you should follow the same doc for the same sickness. Because the visitor insurance is deductible from $50, you need pay the first $50 yourself for the same sickness.
If you have any question about the insurance, you'd better contact the broker, who sell you the insurance.

I think the one above me is correct on this issue. The insurance normally has deduction per sickness. So better stick to the same doctor. Check your insurnace policy as different policies may vary. For the cost of seeing a doc, I belive it's around C$30-40 dollar, and some insurnace also cover the drug cost. Good luck for your mom. If it's some sickness which is not easy to
cure, the best way is just go back to China to get the treatment, as the doctors here sometime
have conservative treatments and may delay the curing.
