1。builder 送的AC一般吨位都不大,别指望快速降温。
2。在室外温度上升期间(晚7点前)打开空调要降温1摄氏度象我家要等1-1.5小时。尽管温度不降,但感觉好多了。
3。在出风口放个温度计,但室温24度时,出口温度18度以下,或温差7度以上都表示AC工作正常。
4。最好与HRV配合工作,以换入新鲜供气。
5。最好设置下班回家前2小时启动AC,或24小时打开(有HRV)。

This is what I heard,

* HRV will bring in humid air from outside and make your A/C working double harder. Put your HRV control switch to summer (if you have the central control panel) and in OFF position during summer time. Only use HRV when needed e.g. exhaust stale air in your bathrooms.

* Put your humidifier to summer mode and turn it off as well.

* A/C on 24 hours to keep your house at a comfortable temperature will save more energy than letting the temperature raise up during the day when nobody in home and then let A/C work harder before you come home to drop a few more degrees.

When AC runs continuously, it will remove moisture from air and at same time, keep temperature lower. It is recommended to choose a smaller AC than needed. If the temperature drop too fast before moisture removed from home, then the AC is too big.
 
Leave furnace running 24/7 at a comfortable temperature will save more energy. Been there, done that.
I am not sure about A/C tho.

Don't get it. Why running 24hours a day will save energy?

leave it on 24 hours doesn't mean it will be running 24 hours:) A/C will do less effort to keep a temperature vs. work hard to drop a few degrees.

ERV 好像电路要比 HRV 复杂,耗电也多得多。
电扇解决不了室内外空气交换的问题。
ERV和 HRV都是设计用来以节能方式交换空气的。

ERV has the capability to dehumidify in summer time while it exchanges fresh air with staled air in house. HRV just brings in fresh air into house. I guess this is the major difference between ERV/HRV. Might be wrong, I only have HRV installed.:)
