Everyone is welcome to volunteer with Ottawa Folk Festival! Especially welcome newcomers.
What is the Ottawa Folk Festival?
The Ottawa Folk Festival is a four day celebration of music, dance, visual art and community between August 25-28 2011! Check out our website at www.ottawafolk.com
Volunteers are important!
We have some 600 volunteers who help make all the magic happen - they work on over 30 different crews giving a minimum of 12 hours of their time. This year we are going to need even more volunteers and we want encourage those who are newcomers to Canada to volunteer with us.
What are the perks of volunteer with us?
· Sharing your talents and skills with the community
· Practice your English or build upon your communication skills
· Discover new friends and great music
· Add Canadian Experience to your resume
· If you’re in high school we can help you get your high school volunteer hours
· Get into the Festival for FREE!
Important information:
We do rely on our volunteers to work hard and contribute to their crews while on their shift. Each volunteer plays a really important role to the festival!
How do I sign up?

All applications are submitted online. If you do not have a computer, please contact Trish at (613)230-8234 X305 and she will fill the form out with you over the phone
