Got a Red Light Offence Notice. Googled and got this page

It seems the only thing I can do is to beg them to lower the charge?

The notice states: The photographs taken by the red light camera system show the vehicle approaching the intersection, at which time the signal had displayed red for 000.3 seconds.

and: and that the vehicle proceeded through the intersection when the light has been red for 001.3 seconds.

Any suggestions?

Looks like you are getting a red light camera ticket.
The bad: There is nothing you can do, there is a picture to show you run red light.
The good: Since they can't prove who is behind the wheel, they can't charge you for any traffic violation, there is nothing on your driving records, no points deducted.

Pay the fine and drive carefully next time.

It is hard to handle 001.3 seconds. Did anybody go to court and got reduced fine? does any reasons could get judge to reduce the fine?

The light was yellow before turning red, you suppose to stop then (unless if it is unsafe to do so). so when you run red light, you run. It doesn't matter how long.

Since the photo ticket is not issued to a driver, it is much better than the alternative. In order to fight the ticket, you have to be the driver. Even you can reduce it to Disobey Amber Light, you will still pay $150 fine and 3 points.

Back From the Court

The judge was more interested in my financial situation and with my annual income she could only reduce the fine a little bit, some 20% off.

There is no demerit points attached to the notice.
