There is no law against killing the birds like crows if they are on your property. If you are killing they for fun, some city by-laws may restrict your actions. It's can be considered cruelty towards animals. There are some City sponsored mass killing of crows in southwest Ontario in the past few years. City of Chatham killed about 200,000 crows by organizing volunteers in 2000. Some people were deadly against the action. The City of Chartham hired someone to get the birds away in 2001 for $200k without killing thousands.
